Beginner Bloggers

Recommended Posts

I am a beginner blogger and I am a senior citizen starting late. I have made a blog and I am having trouble learning to get traffic. Where is the best place to find traffic and get a few views per day. I have a regular job and only work online 3 or 4 hrs. a day. I want to get the most affective way to get traffic other than traffic exchanges. I use several traffic exchanges and it takes a couple of hours to get all the credits I need to get free advertising. But if I can find ways that are more sufficient and less time, I believe it would help me. How do I find help?

What sort of blog is it Victor?  If it is IM I can think of one possibility straight away...open a free blog with Instant Blog Subscribers, copy your blog posts over to that and you can send out to 200 straight away.  Also you can link it to your existing blog. Then you can pick up credits and send out more.... Also you could join IBO Toolbox as a free member, set up your username to match the name of your blog  and issue press releases based on your blog posts - just copy them over with a link to your existing blog. These press releases rate well on Google so you might start to get some traffic to your site without too much effort. I am sure other people will have lots of different ideas for you. Good luck!

You can write a couple of  short articles about affiliate marketing, and make useful comments on other people's blogs.
Look for blogs that write about the same or related topics and leave some comments, add a link to one of your posts or add it in your profile

You can also share your posts on social media, write blog posts as a guest author on other blogs, submit your articles to directories and other sites that collect/spread articles, etc.

This is the best advice in my experience. For a blog to get a lot of traffic, you need to rank in the search engines for your keywords. It is not a quick or easy process and takes a lot of work and time to develop any real traffic. Through all of these things listed above, if you build a list and send out every time you have a new post it will slowly develop traffic. When people come to your site, the search engines will start seeing it. The best way as mentioned above is to have some guest posts on other blogs in your niche. You really have to "toot your own horn" so people will take notice of you. You are now the product you need to be marketing.

only traffic sites for blog

If you mean TEs, viral mailers, and Safelists; they will bring you down in the SERPs. They are mostly 100% "bounce" traffic. A "bounce" is someone staying for a short time and not clicking anything (about all traffic from these sources describe this). It tells the search engines there is nothing people are looking for on your site and they lower the rank and eventually delist it. For a blog to survive, it needs to get ranked for its keywords. It has to have REAL visitors who read what is there and lick on links. This is why most every blog used the "To read more..click here" and use short teasers on the front page. the more clicks in the site the better. This is why a popular site even with the wrong keywords will get on the front page - it is popular and people go there and spend some time there.

Hi all,

Did you know that you can make money blogging. I have been doing it for just a short while. I found blogging tools that can be purchased for a small one time cost.

There is also the opportunity to sell these tools. I am just getting started and have more than tripled my initial one time cost after only 4 sales.

All interested friend me and request information.

Cordially,

James Walker
