Paid Members Only Safelist ?
market101 replied to Jasond188's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
BTW, I was thinking about all the times in the past that I joined something and got caught up in the hype, upgraded, sponsored a bunch of people and then payday never came - just excuses. So, I emailed the owner at TennerList. They pay every 30 days. I told him I wanted to be paid ASAP so I could tell my downline "it really works". Within a few hours the money was in my paypal acct. -
Paid Members Only Safelist ?

That's true. But it doesn't mean they will spend either. At least you know the paid member spends sometimes. -
Paid Members Only Safelist ?

I don't know yet, but I'm going to find out. I joined TennerList yesterday and I already have a few paid members. We'll see. -
You can make money on the internet, but it's not easy and you have to be very careful. Be sure to do your due diligence. If you do not understand this term, it is important enough for you do look it up in a dictionary! As most people know by now, there are huge numbers of scams out there, trying to separate you from your money. I hope you are not fooled by the obvious ones that promise you millions in a very short period of time. If you are so naive to fall for that B.S., you have no business using the internet for fast profit. You will end up with fast losses! Be realistic. Most people do not have the know-how, time, or money to start a new program. If you are sophisticated enough, or know people who you can partner with, you have a chance to succeed on your own. But, for most of us, we are looking for ways to promote either our own little web sites or the web sites of affiliate programs that we like. So, for these people; you need to know how and where to advertise and how to build a list, if you are so inclined. Most people are involved in some of the following activities to build their affiliate programs. 1. Safe Lists & Opt-In Lists. 2. Surfing sites & Classifieds. 3. Viral & rotator ads. 4. TEs (Traffic Exchanges) 5. Leads - you have to purchase these. 6. Blogs - very time consuming, but they work to some degree. 7. Bulk Email - where you pay someone and your ad goes on their server. And then there is bulk email stealth software that goes on your computer, but I think it is illegal in quite a few states and spam is never a good idea. 8. HYIPs - for those who want fast returns without doing anything - you know - so called passive income. HYIP stands for high-yield investment programs and the people who get involved with these are high-risk gamblers. Most of these fall apart in time and the majority of the investors lose everything. A few people get out with their profit before the thing collapses. How did they know when to get out? hmmm. I have been networking for over 20 years and have seen my share of scams. I have lost money. I have made money. Over $250,000 in one MLM. I am telling you that the people who make the most money are the ones who take the time and put in the effort and the money to run their own programs. I applaud them. It is hard work and requires dedication and patience. I run a small private list Called the "ACTIVE PLAYERS" List. No one sees this list but me. I test many affiliate programs. I look for programs that are new, exciting, exclusive, lucrative and have little or no competition. I join the ones I believe will be successful. When I find one that fits most of my criteria, I send out a blurb to the people on the "LIST". I usually send an email approximately once per month or every other month. If you want to be on this list of go-getters, just email me. You will not be contacted by other members of the list and I will never sell or expose your email to anyone. Prosperous regards, Martin Levine activeplayeradmin@gmail.com

This is why I always join for free and test out the system before I upgrade.

OK - most of us agree that Linkedin is a worthwhile program for business leads. Now, back to my original question. Do you feel that it is necessary to connect with the same people on FB, LInkedin & Twitter? Are you picking up more leads that way or are you wearing out your welcome?

Hey Jasond188, I used your spam test above and it works. Thanks.

Hi Kevin, If they are really my friends, they can email me at my private email address
-
They do have a free advertising system.
-
First of all, you are not going to be a millionaire with this matrix system. That being said, you can only lose $3 and you might make a few bucks
-
There is no way I am buying the $10 or $100 ver of any program without trying the free ver first.

I just remembered where the word "sex" was hidden. I was trying to promote a company called Eprofitsextreme.

It's very frustrating when that happens. It would be wonderful if the program told us which word was in question, so we could change the script. Once I had an article rejected because the word sex was embedded inside another word. It took me 30 minutes to figure it out.

I sing in a barbershop quartet. I love 4-part a cappella harmony. So for me, the most fun on the net is searching out new a cappella groups.

Martin here, Retired after 40 yrs of administering anesthesia. Still like to dabble in hypnosis. Have been on line over 20 years and find marketing fascinating. California is home for me and my wife. I spend 1-2 hours a day testing new sites. I try my best to weed-out the scams. When I find a site that meets my criteria, I test it a few more days to see what kind of response I get and then I recommend it to my private list called, the "Active Players List" My criteria can be seen here: http://sensible-marketing.blogspot.com/ My fav saying: "Emotions are stronger than intellect".

If Safelists Don't Work, Why Do They Exist?
market101 replied to Rudi Vanhaecke's topic in Content Writing and Blogging
A lot of people seem concerned that a safelist owner will sell their email address. Who cares? I hope you are not giving out your most trusted (for friends and associates) email addresses to people you don't know. I have over 50 gmail addresses. If people want to sell them - fine. -
Thank you all for your comments and insights. I mostly use Twitter and Linkedin for biz. I use fb for friends and family. I have received a huge number of people from Linkedin, who have joined my private list and therefore Linkedin is my fav.

Not always. Many times I promote sites that are really free. Some of these sites have upgrades available, but the upgrades are not mandatory. For instance, here is a free site I use every day, http://instanttrafficgeneration.com/aff/9781 and it works. http://instanttrafficgeneration.com/images/ban/468x60.gif

Using Blogs for Your Home Business
market101 replied to Rodney's topic in Content Writing and Blogging
I actually use my blog for 1 specific thing, i.e. to build my list. http://sensible-marketing.blogspot.com/ I find that it is way too time-consuming for the standard use. I know there are others who swear by it. We all have to pick and choose how we want to spend our time.- 22 replies

`twitter` vs. `fb` vs `linkedin` 1. First, let me say that I realize there are many, many, more social and business sites than the three that I listed. 2. I picked these three because they have a longish history and are adequate for the real purpose of this discussion, which is stated in # 3. 3. Why are people always asking me for my linkedin info, when they already have my fb or twitter info? I just arbitrarily used linkedin first. In other words, if we are already connected on one of the above sites, what is the purpose of being connected on all of the sites? It seems like a huge waste of time. What am I missing here?

Facebook Ads: What is Your Daily Budget?
market101 replied to Kevin J Timothy's topic in Social Media
It seems the only time I check my FB acct any more is to see what my kids and grandkids are up to. I really don't care if someone I barely know is driving up route 1 or bumped into what's her name, etc. As far as advertising on FB - I do not have a budget for that. I tried advertising there at least 30 times with 0 success. -
Let's talk about safelist sites!
market101 replied to paulserban's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I'm with you John. No one is going to get excited about 5 credits. I think there is a learning curve here. Newbies will click for awhile until something "better" comes along. There seems to be two main types of Affiliate Program Marketers. The program owner/admin and the affiliate members. The members can be further broken down into 2 main types; one group picks a program and sticks with it for many months (even years in some cases) while the other group, which I believe is the larger one, gets bored easily and keeps on moving from program to program. It would interesting to get Darren and Kenny's take on this.
