  1. Hey Tony, Make your squeeze pages the theme and niche of your blog. Maybe put a snippet of one of your favorite posts in the squeeze. The purpose of the squeeze page is to get the surfers interested in what you have to say,. Include images. Eye candy helps to entice them to give you their name and email. Once they are on your list you can notify them of new posts!
  2. hey Jerry Make your own! No monthly fee. Easy to use. Host them yourself http://jvz6.com/c/100971/8013
  3. I will be looking for your solo, Jerry Some times we have to do what we have to do in order to get things done...
  4. We did pick our winner. It was fun. Decided to do another giveaway utilizing the same platform for a lifetime upgrade at one of my exchanges.
  5. Also have to consider results differ from person to person. Has a lot to do with know, like and trust. The page advertised has a lot to do with conversions as well.. does it stand out. Is it different then what surfers are used to seeing?
  6. Haven't really followed either one of you, but have "seen" Darren around for many years. He just seemed to appear where i was... always seemed honest and trustworthy with a good sense for business. Didn't know Matt from Adam, but knew if he was partnered with Darren, he had some good qualities. That's why when I stumbled across this forum, I had to be a part of it.
  7. I also find that interactive splash pages convert well... I love making unique splash pages that engage the visitor... http://www.1modernsolution.com/splash/magnify/index.php?rid=1

  10. Brand Them! Your name and image is key! Let them know who you are.
  11. An Administrator is key, Matt... as you say. I've operated dedicated servers for better than 8 years now, and I still don't know all the ins and outs. Plus they are ever changing with the software and OS updates. It can be a real challange. I do hosting for several exchanges and one of the keys to my success is knowing php. It is sometimes tough to keep the scripts updated with the software versions. Clients usually don't understand but appreciate the host being able to keep things up to date without them having to worry about it. I have found and used on occassion 3rd party server management companies. They have techs available 24/7 and are usually pretty good in emergency situations. Most are available as monthly subscription or a one time "fix".
  12. Customer service is the key tovbuilding good relationships in yourvmembership sites. Nothing ticksva membervofvworse than a grumpy response or no reply at all. Whether its a complaint or praise, we respond in a professional manner addressing them as professional marketers. As for canceled subscriptions, I use an autoresponder to follow up within a couple days. It makes sure nothing is wrong and asks if we can do anything to help. Of course if they respond we address their situation. The script then follows up within a month with a counter offer to reearn their business. DA
