That's a pretty standard rule on most mailers.I agree, I see this subject all the time and ignore it because it is very misleading. If you have a message that is important then you should be able to rework the subject such that it is better and doesn't Cause problems like this one will. I see daily OTOs in different safelist mailers, and I see how wrong are made majority of them. The objective is to draw the reader's attention on an advantageous offer for him and for me. But I see many offers full of banners, text ads, links to another sites, etc. Just a click and the reader is gone in the wind... Yea I have noticed the same thing most of the time, I think it is not always though. I think it is because they display while surfing and if the timer is low people don't even have a chance to see those ads, they are clicking too fast to notice the banner or text ad.
