Bubbles? Sound interesting. Can anyone tell me in a couple of words what it is all about? As for Windows 7, 8 or even 42. I think I will take a while and let it all settle down. Not keen on being an early adopter. I need the things to have proven itself themselves (smile). Have a grand day, John.

Ah, I have just found this thread after searching for it for a long time. Windows 7 is where I want to go. But I am not sure that my old PC is up to it. I have a birthday coming up. Maybe someone will buy me a new machine and I can get more up-to-date (smile). Have a good one, john.

I track my ads, too. I use a mixture of trker and trck. I know these are not shorteners in the strict sense, but they have a similar effect of reducing the length of links somewhat and the added advantage of giving some useful stats. The only problem with adding the extra hop is that the links could fail every now and then if the service provider has trouble. What do other people use? Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

Hi there! One thing that I have noticed is that there are both UK and US English used on most sites, but what is really confusing is when they are mixed, often in the same paragraph. I am not going to lecture here, but always using either one or the other consistently in the same text is what I tell my students (smile). Have a grand day, John.

Hi there! I have Norton 360 installed and did a full scan. It did not find anything. Maybe I will just kill firefox. I still have it as my default browser. Does that help in locating the possible source of the problem? Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

Hi there! These are the sites that start all by themselves: http://autoprofitreplicator.com/http://www.clickthislinknow.net/http://www.insuredprofits.com/ Anyone know if they are bad or not? Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

Hi there! Well, I have been using Firefox a little, but as it is getting quite annoying, I might just uninstall it, Darren. However, as Garrett suggests, I will note down the site that fires up to see if is is always the same one. I really had not taken notice of this as I have just been closing Firefox when it opens by itself. Thanks for the feedback you guys and I will let you know what I come up with. Have a grand day, John.

Hi there, I know I have written about this before, but it is still doing it. I am happily working way on my machine using Google Chrome and then all of a sudden Firefox fires up and shows me some page or other. Anyone know where I can find this lurking and how I can kill it? Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

Hi Thomas, I noticed on a couple of sites that the personalisation does not work if you include an exclamation mark directly after the [first_name] or what ever the code is. However, leaving a space after the bracket and then adding the exclamation mark appear to work fine. Strange. Have you noticed this? Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

I know, I know... I spoke too soon. The very next day my tracker decided to go on strike. I could not effectively market for more than a day. I hope not too many people were affected by this. If you were, you know which tracker i am referring to. Have a grand day, John.

Hi there! I use a tracker which of course helps to hide the real destination (cloaking?), but not all sites allow this. However, it dos give me a good indication of what is working and what is not. I see what you mean about the tracker not working. I had a day recently when this happened and that meant not clicks getting through to many of my sites. However, it has only happened once (that I have seen/noticed) in a couple of years. Have a grand day, John.

Is it so long since anyone posted to this thread? I just wanted to add that the "watching TV" part of the above post related to being very selective with what you view. Once I had given up surfing the channels and only switching the thing on to watch the news, the time "created" was immense. Also, I found that waiting for the films that I wanted to see to come out on DVD reduced the amount of time I used watching films on the TV. The added benefit is that living in Germany most TV (and cinema) films have been dubbed. Watching them on DVD normally means you can select the original sound tracks. I hope that helps, John.

Hi there! Has anyone else got a free hosting suggestion? Any feedback about their reliability would also be welcome. Have a grand day, John.

I wouldn't mind hearing from people who have bought good list either. I need to get my message out there (smile). Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon, John.

Well, that could be the answer. Maybe we just give up too early when we encounter an obstacle. I remember reading somewhere that people need to see an offer seven times before taking action. Just sending to a mailing list once or twice is probably not enough. Have a grand day, John.

Hi there! Is the world so mean and nasty as we all make it out to be or is it just that very few people sing the praises of great sites, the majority just complain about the bad one. I was just thinking aloud (smile). Have a grand day, John.

I trust it started well for you all. Next party time is carnival. Not too long to wait (smile). These Germans... Stay in touch, John.

Hey, thanks for the info. Getting things automated is a must these days. 2015 is going to be the year for this (for me at least). I hope it started well for you, John. -
Wow! They sure know how to party here in Germany. And I thought the Scots had it all sewn up (smile). Hope no one has broken their New Year's resolutions yet. Best regards and stay in touch, John.

Hi there! I just wanted to wish you Season's Greetings from Germany. I hope that you all got what you wanted, or at least what you needed as pressies. Here's to a great New Year! John.

Computer Problems? Looking for Solutions!

Sounds like you are out in the sticks. Even here in Europe the Internet is not easily accessed everywhere. Where I live is at the end of a long cable and that slows down my access considerably. I hope you don't get too frustrated, John.- 12 replies

Hi there! maybe I spoke too soon. Still waiting on a payment and it has been days. I'll give it a day or two more and then start shouting (smile). Have a grand day, John.
