Free Hosting?

Any files like that you can keep a copy on Google Drive for free - https://drive.google.com , or at least I know you can for PDF/HTML, Google may "convert" it so you can open it in Drive, but you can download it again for any format.

Other then that, almost free is ViralHosts, they offer a $7 lifetime account which provides 50 mb storage.

I would be wary to rely on any other free hosting service to be honest... your files could be there one day and gone the next.

I have used Google Drive sometimes, but I prefer to have my hosting. For some dollars more, you can have an unlimited space to a provider.

Plus, when somebody go there to take or see something, you have traffic to your websites (!).

I already have all the paid hosting I need.

But if someone didn't have a paid host... is there anything free that you could recommend for someone to maybe host a few html files and maybe a few pdf or zip files?

Thanks,

Jerry

weebly would most likely be what they need. I put up one time or limited promotions that I change very often on their free hosting. Since my pages are not very big and is just for one product or 2, it is not worth having a paid hosting with a huge number of domain names that I will never use a second time

Suggest you look at the hosts which offer a free start up, such as Bravenet, Wix etc but where you can upgrade later if you want - check their upgrade fees first before starting your free site.  I don't know of any to avoid - after all, if they are free, you can always move your sites somewhere else later.

Think JVZoo are offering a free month but that may not be long enough for you. Time seems to fly when you are playing at building websites!!!
