  1. Well said. So you definately want to give attention to building the downlines of the respective traffic exchange. That's a great point. When I first started years ago it was tough to see the importance of this. The bottom line is that time is your most valuable asset, and those referrals can give you the leverage you need to create other forms of traffic.
  2. Instead of your blog or landing page, leave the URL to your Facebook fan page. Or, for blogs with the Facebook comment social plugin, sign in and back link to your fan page.
  3. What is the best way (you find) to advertise in safelists? Is your focus on referring others... Do you simply purchase credits? Or, do you have some "magical" strategy when earning credits? Don't be shy please share with the forum. Thank you all.
  4. I use my mobile devices to earn safelist credits. However, many of the pages a advertise through that medium are optimized for mobile view. We should all start focusing on the mobile trend. Imagine desktops becoming extinct.
  5. Let's assume that you have one landing page, or one squeeze page. If you only have one primary webpage what is the ideal number of visitors (or hits) do you try to get each day? Share with us your daily goal, please.
  6. By it being the second most popular website in the world, that's where PLENTY traffic is. Are you willing to keep trying it until you master it? It may very well be worth it for you. I'm not a fanatic of Facebook - it can be a trap and total time waster. But I know better than to forsake its advertising power. The ads are probably my most favorite feature of the network.
  7. For how long were you getting acceptable CPC before you pulled the plug on the ad? Think you may have done it prematurely, perhaps?
  8. Robert, How is the "unsubscribe" button unique? Many (if not all) autoresponders have them. If I'm not mistaken its the law to have one available for those that want out. Seasoned marketers know the value in them, while some one new ones may take offense to an unsubscribe request. They only take up valuable space on your list. Now, I know that some autoresponders will give you the option to opt in to OTHER lists during the process of unsubscribing the original list - now that's a nice feature. I see that you use more than one autoresponder. Glad to know that people other than myself actually does that. How's that working out for you, Robert?
  9. Kimberly, You made some excellent points. CPC certainly is high at the start. Do you prefer to send traffic to a squeeze page?
  10. Raphael, That's a good number to aim for. Better to do a manageable number over an extended period of time, than to do many in one day and go on a hiatus.
  11. I like to use State of The Art Mailer. They use a very unique method of getting click throughs to your website. Unlike most mailers, SOTAM does not waste the credits that you earn. I like the fact that they keep many emails on their servers for future viewing. So, an email you sent out weeks prior can easily carry out your mission today. Great system. Also, viewing their emails (and earning credits) is made so much easier from a mobile device. ...for those of you into marketing while on the go.
  12. Rafael, Do you really have a dire need for both of these? Or do you use the two independent of one another?
  13. Consider trying 10X Mailer. Not only can you choose to get just a weekly digest of emails you can earn credits from, but the click through rates are well above industry average. The digest will only get you one condensed email that will have ALL the credit links in them.
  14. Right now I really like how SOTAM and ListSurfing works. I do, however, track the success of all the safelists I use regularly. You can always refer to them here. http://www.kevinjtimothy.com/safelists Once there you'll notice a graphic of all the stats of each safelist.
  15. When at least 5 of the top 25 websites in the world are search engine based, you bet your bottom dollar that SEO is still important. Remember... Some form of SEO is involved with even videos and eBay/Amazon listings. Take a look for yourself. Alexa's Top 500 Global Sites Think outside the box and go beyond the idea of the traditional Yahoo, Google, and About.com searches. Even local SEO is vital for local brick and mortar business in your towns. Never, EVER forget that the average person relies on the internet for finding information that is indexed in some form. Keywords, meta tags, titles, etc. are involved with even a simple eBay auction. And yes, even those will be indexed in a typical engine.
  16. Kenny, Yea, right? Tell me about it! It comes off as so self-serving. Reminds me of those incredulous TV ads of celebrities endorsing things you know darn well they don't even use.
  17. OldBuddy, Would you endorse this more so over Yahoo Messenger?
  18. You'll find some very interesting podcasts on there too. The topics will blow your mind.
  19. Yea, I can't knock GetResponse. I used to use it and I remember liking it immediately. The affiliate program is pretty darn good and the interface is sweet. I'd suggest it to a friend if I had to. As for why I don't use it anymore, well, it's because I like another autoresponder more. Mr. Olander, that sounds like a very interesting feature.
  20. Yep, yep! THIS is why I love to use Buffer. That "queue" concept is amazing and goes a long way for you when it comes to leveraging your time.
  21. For fun I like to explore the different radio stations from various cities on iHeart radio. I like to compare and see how different locales "do it." Some DJs are more intriguing than others. Some are more interesting. And in most cases the type of broadcasts paints a picture of that city's culture. Although I like the mobile iHeart app, the desktop version is more fun....especially with the Facebook comment plugin that you will find. **Hint** It becomes a pretty cool way to market just to comment and leave backlinks to your FB profile or fan pages...all by talking about music.
  22. I like the responses I have seen so far. At times it seems as though you're communicating too much with subscribers - especially when you send out a broadcast in the middle of a sequence.
