Tommie, sorry, Greg Parkin :-)
-
Yip, its that one that I posted in the next reply Thanks Tommie :-)

Most definitely a scam. Probably to gather details for spamming, scamming, stealing personal info etc.

Its such a poor design too lol. Its a very nice person to join me on that banner. You can smile, but no laughing, okay? http://www.instantbannercreator.com/images/members/69098/banner-1332741319.png

I just this morning have earned a $18 commission from a new sign up from my "homemade" personalized banner of email-hog

Suman, small correction - his name is Greg Parkins, not Parkinson He's also bought some sites recently, Kodiak Hits and Traffic Corps come to mind. I don't have experience as far as paying or not paying, because I don't really use or promote his sites. However, this is what I know. He's been an owner of sites for some years. I can remember him as owner of several Text Ad exchanges, before Traffic Exchanges. Like this one ;-p http://www.bigbuckstextads.info When I asked once in the Zubee Talk forum, for traffic exchange owners opinions on what they would like from their members. He wrote a very long reply, and one thing he complained about, was that site owners don't make so much money and that members should understand that and not be so demanding regarding their commission payments. So, it seemed from that, that he does pay (?), but that he doesn't prioritize the payment of commissions? Also fairly recently, maybe around the end of last year or beginning of this year or so, I noticed an admin mail. He'd just purchased Kodiak Hits and was threatening members who had not logged in since some date in 2015, that he would delete their accounts, upgraded or not. His tone was pretty harsh. Lots of CAPS. The email went out several times. Aside from that, I've heard complaints about unfair attitude to a request by an upgraded member of one of his sites, and also, from another TE owner, that "rumour is that he's slow to pay". He seems to really like doing cross promos with other sites by the way.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement :-)

Thanks for the feedback Annie :-) Yes, yesterday the upgrades "sold out" and the owner had to add more

Let's talk about safelist sites!
Clare Bowen replied to paulserban's topic in Safelists, Mailers, Autoresponders
I had a yearly upgrade when it first launched, but I was offline for a while and dropped it. I've not yet been convinced that I'll take it up again. It was a bit different when I was upgraded there, to how it is now. It had the mailer and the advertising for a lot of sites, but also the admin was promoting for members. I'm maybe a bit insecure or old fashioned or something lol, but I can't bring myself to use mass mailers. I must go into each mailer, put my ad, click send, and then I feel right Now, there seem to be a lot more mailers added, but remember that aside from the free advertising, you still need to work for your credits, or upgrade, buy etc. Yet, still, I have seen a lot of really good marketers using this service. So it is one to consider. You need, as far as I know, to take a slightly higher upgrade if you want to promote referral frenzy for commission. Having said all of that, people who are actively using it now, will surely guide you better. -

I will do John :-) I see there is a clicking contest running there. I guess that's to prevent the ctr from flatlining completely -

At 300 - 1500 credits per solo ad read, I'm not surprised. Read one, send 1500, read a few more, mail the entire membership For some reason, the banners get a fairly good click rate there, or at least they did, I'm going to assign more credits now to see if that's still the case -
Login Spotlights - Why I like them
Clare Bowen replied to Clare Bowen's topic in Techniques & Strategies
There's another plus about login ads of all types in mailers and TEs. Often upgraded members are not going in to surf or read mails, they're just going in to assign credits/use the mailer, so you're reaching an audience, you wouldn't touch otherwise.- 7 replies

Yes, I guess so Tommie I have a very sweet team though, and many come into my downlines when they see my ads in the TEs and mailers that we share in common
-
Hi everyone I've always been a fan of login spotlights in the busy TEs and Mailers that have them. So I thought I'd share some info on one that I took on Saturday at a TE called Big Beach Hits. For anyone who doesn't know yet. You book a date on the calendar and pay the required fee. Some sites have a daily login spotlight, and others have one that remains active for a week. Members, when they login, after the login offers, come to this page where they earn credits both for viewing the ad, and for rating it. The cost was $3 for one day (which I bought with commissions). I advertised a self created splash page which is, I think well suited to the membership there (the site I advertised involves surfing for entries into a cash draw). Though, i admit, many would already be a member so I was looking for the few that aren't yet. With this, I received 434 views and got 33 ratings (feedback comments). Two people signed up for a free account. Some of the comments were junk - just people putting anything to get their credits they earn for the rating, but aside from them, the comments were positive. Normally, I'd use these login spotlight ads for special promotions or new launches, or when I created a new splash page, but I imagine that they'd be quite useful for building a list too. Is anyone else so keen on them?

To be honest, I'm really not well suited to building a good online income. I've made money, and I can make money, plus I have some small residual income from various programs. But as far as building something more sustainable, I don't really do it. I don't do social networking, I don't have my own site (any more), I don't maintain a list, and I don't "sell" to people I know and meet online, though I know how. So in the almost 10 years I've been online, I've really just been using mailers and traffic exchanges to promote. But I have an offline business, so for me, this remains a hobby. And this is how I prefer to work.

Hi Ajay, I'm not good at Maths, I have to admit that, but to me it seems that the trade price for the upgrades that I've taken most recently (sakura traffic and mousumi) have had the same value in terms of money as if zubees had been converted to cash on the "old market place". The problem of maintaining a good claim bonus lies, as far as I know, in the lack of prize cache available because of less coins. And also, members with downlines aren't getting bonuses from referral purchases because referrals can't purchase anything on the market place with cash. Did I skip anything else? Now it seems its just team bonuses and surf party to work with.

I thought I'd mention here, that I've just come across a silver month upgrade at Sakura Traffic for 750k zubees. This is a pretty good deal imo, and definitely worth taking a look.

Is There Any REAL Incentive To Collect Zubee Coins?
Clare Bowen replied to captkirk's topic in Commons
That's about the sneakiest twist of words I've yet to see lol Let me repeat. I'm not saying that I agree with the way it was handled. But yes, we need something better than what there is now. I hope that he can get the motivation to put something together. It was so much fun before. We're even coming up with our own tournaments based on other reward sites, just to keep things interesting within our team -

I'm not saying that I agree with the way it was handled. Other than that it was necessary to remove cash for zubee trade at that point. And that action from him was swift. Whether it was his intention to reintroduce cash in some way under a new "solution" in the future - well, I don't believe he had already decided that would not happen. I believe he genuinely was working towards that end. But the situation is far more complicated than members would like to think. I said it even last year, before this happened. The Zubee Zone system had underlying faults that most people were not aware of, or didn't consider, and these were getting more serious as time continued. Basically, there is no way that Zubee Zone was going to simply get a new processor and resume business as before. Which it seems is what the majority of people were expecting. And yes, there is little point in going out of one's way to collect coins, based exactly on the reasons you and Ajay give. As far as John's actual integrity is concerned, I stand by my previous posts. -

Thanks Tommie :-) Yes, this is what's happening, and I believe that John was expecting to have to stop paypal on his sites. He did that very quickly, and then made his announcement. He knew it was coming. And I'll put a link here to a blog he'd written to back up what I'm saying (different people will interpret it differently in view of Zubee Zone depending on their perspective of the situation since the removal of paypal). From my personal point of view, John didn't want at all to take cash rewards away from members, and perhaps he really was working towards a way of returning them. But I don't think he expected the strong reaction from members. Each one can make up their own mind, but flipping back through the pages of this blog. Its not a monkey running the show there (obviously). http://teamprofitpro.com/blog/traffic-exchange-owners-are-losing-their-minds-because-of-paypal/ -
Is There Any REAL Incentive To Collect Zubee Coins?
Clare Bowen replied to captkirk's topic in Commons
I think that most of us underestimated how desperate the situation in ZZ became when the paypal crisis started to set in. Before John made the announcement that he would have to remove paypal from his sites, many sites were already getting hit by this. Owners were cutting back on expenses in extreme ways, like stopping to pay free members, like removing cash prizes, like freezing payouts. For goodness sake, how many sites shut down? What happened to I-pro-x admin? He was gone missing one month before his site went down. He left his admin to pay commissions from his own pocket. He had a viral rewards program called i-coins. Gone. When John first posted about this, he said that it would be a long and difficult journey, and that he understands those that choose not to stick around. That he intends to keep Zubee Zone alive, even if he is the only one collecting the coins. Most of us, myself included were still dreaming of 2016's days. From my side, I don't believe that John is letting ZZ die intentionally. There are deep problems there because of the way things were. Many people with huge stashes of zubees. Many owners who dropped subscriptions because of the paypal crisis, and who knows what the finances really looked like there. Project to the future, and for how long would ZZ have had to run on a loss to pay out members for all the accumulated zubees. I run a business. We sell food, mainly snacks and fast food. People come in there with the attitude that, since my shelves and fridges are well stocked, I must be making a lot of money, and I must be rich and successful. I have what they want, they're my customers, okay :-) But truth is that most of my customers are earning a lot more than I am. Even the blue collar factory workers :-) John is a public figure. And so it seemed to be very easy for people to write very nasty and accusatory things in his forum, about him and to him. I can only imagine the ton of support tickets that went with that. I am only a team leader, and you'd be astonished at the abuse that was handed me to my inbox when the cash first stopped. I almost quit Zubee Zone because of it. But because of my team and my loyalty to the program that put us together kept me there. I never earned one penny from ZZ. Everything went into my team. I have had a real education though. Where I live, and in my background, you don't kick people when they're down. You encourage them and offer to help where you can. I believe that John lost motivation more than once and I challenge anyone here to bite the bullet and continue under attack like he was under. People were nasty and vicious from the beginning of the crisis. It almost makes me want to not travel and meet people around the world. I'm safer in my own environment lol, even though we have one of the highest crime rates in the world :-) To conclude my lecture :-) Whether I stick around in Zubee Zone, depends not on my feelings toward the owner and how he is running (or not running) his site, but on the members. I have never stayed there for the rewards, cash or otherwise. -

There will be no more zubees to cash conversion, that we know for sure. Otherwise, regarding cash payments. Recently, winners of the diamond ticket draw were paid to their paypal. John promised that there would be cash contests in the future (that future hasn't come though, and we've had no updates in that regard). Anything else that he may have or have had in mind? No idea.
